台灣網路資訊中心 (TWNIC) 很高興地宣布，余若凡 (Jo-Fan Yu) 已加入 TWNIC，擔任新任執行長。余若凡也是 TWNIC 的董事會成員，向董事長黃勝雄 （Kenny Huang） 報告。
余若凡是一位公認的數位政策和法律專家，在她在資訊科技相關行業過去十餘年的職涯中，在幫助大型科技公司和非政府組織應對技術與國家安全、供應鏈彈性和戰略合作夥伴關係發展等交叉領域的複雜挑戰方面，擁有公認的領導力和記錄。余若凡曾擔任檢察官，後來成為政策專家和律師，並在世界頂級律師事務所之一貝克麥堅時 (Baker & McKenzie) 工作。在她的職業生涯中，余若凡也被矽谷巨擘Google任命為該公司台灣和香港的公共政策總監。任命余若凡為 TWNIC 的新領導人，對我們的組織來說是一個重要的時機，因為台灣在網路治理、技術和創新方面，在世界舞台上獲得了更多的關注和重要性。余若凡的加入，將使 TWNIC 的影響力和合作夥伴關係更上一層樓，並進一步加強 TWNIC 在區域和全球的地位。

TWNIC是台灣負責網域名稱註冊和IP位址分配的中立非營利組織。TWNIC除了提供全方位的網路服務外，也參與各種相關的地區及國際會議，希望透過公眾參與和持續改進，為台灣的網路服務供應商及其所有成員提供最好的服務，這是TWNIC的最大目標之一。今年，TWNIC也將於8月19日至8月23日在台北共同主辦2024年亞太區域網路治理論壇（APrIGF）。這也標誌著台灣第二次主辦APrIGF。
The Taiwan Network Information Center Announces New Leadership and Welcomes Jo-fan Yu as the New CEO.
The Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC) is excited to announce that Jo-fan Yu has joined the TWNIC as our new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. Jo-fan also sits on the board of the TWNIC, reporting to Chairman Kenny Huang.
Jo-fan is a well recognized digital policy and legal expert with proven leadership and record in helping major technology corporations and NGOs to navigate complex challenges at the intersection of technology and national security, supply chain resiliency, and strategic partnership development over the past decades of her successful career in the information technology industry. A government prosecutor-turned policy professional and lawyer, most recently Jo-fan worked for Baker & McKenzie, one of the world’s top law firms. Earlier in her career, Jo-fan was appointed by Silicon Valley’s iconic technology leader Google as the company’s Head of Public Policy for Taiwan and Hong Kong. The appointment of Jo-fan as the new leader of the TWNIC comes at an important timing for our organization as Taiwan has gained more attention and importance on the world stage in the aspect of internet governance, technology, and innovation. Jo-fan’s joining will bring the TWNIC to the next level of influence and partnership and further strengthen TWNIC’s position regionally and globally.

Jo-fan has been a long-time supporter and friend of the TWNIC in her previous roles and now Jo-fan can take over the helm and sit in the front row to lead the organization into greater success in the foreseeable future. The board will give Jo-fan full support in the course of our mission to help Taiwan and our users succeed in the space of technology and innovation,” said Kenny Huang, Chairman of the TWNIC, who was also CEO of the TWNIC from 2017 to 2024. “During my long career in the technology industry, I’ve always been a big fan of the TWNIC and its important work to keep Taiwan’s internet free, fast, and secure. With the rapid developments of the technology world, the TWNIC will take on more challenges and I hope I can contribute my own global network and knowledge to work with many friends of the TWNIC for greater success and to make Taiwan proud,” said Jo-fan Yu.
The TWNIC is the unique neutral and non-profit organization that takes charge of the domain name registration and IP address allocation in Taiwan. Besides offering full range network services, the TWNIC participates in various related regional and international conferences, in hopes to provide the best services for network service providers in Taiwan and all its members through public participation and constant improvements, which are the biggest goals of the TWNIC. This year, the TWNIC will also be the co-host of the 2024 Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) in Taipei from August 19 to August 23. It also marks the second time for Taiwan to be the host of APrIGF.
