Domain Name Abuse

There are different ways to address forms of domain abuse. For example, the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) resolves domain name disputes. ICANN has agreements with registries and registrars that include obligations to investigate and report abuse and illegal activities. This session will be from the operational approaches to explore legal interoperability in terms of mechanisms, frameworks, norms, and criteria.
