To promote the comprehensive and sound development of the Internet in Taiwan, TWNIC is now accepting proposals for Internet-related projects. We invite all relevant organizations to participate and collaborate with TWNIC to further advance the development of the Internet in Taiwan.
This call for project solicitation focuses on proposals in the following four Internet-related scopes. Applicants are required to submit a proposal in one of these categories:
- Internet Policy Research: Explore current Internet policies and Internet governance policy, and provide suggestions for improvements.
- Internet Security: Conduct research on the current state of Internet security and propose frameworks, technical or policy, and content to enhance Internet security.
- Internet Technology Development: Conceptualize and develop the Internet tools and technologies to improve convenience, ubiquity, sustainability, operational efficiency, and broaden the application of the Internet.
- Digital Equality and Opportunity: Address the current digital divide in remote areas or among disadvantaged groups in Taiwan, providing sufficient digital resources and capabilities.
Application Period:
From now until November 15, 2024 (consideration based on postmark date or based on the date and time of email reception).
Eligibility Criteria:
The domestic and foreign legally registered entities, including companies, associations, non-profit organizations, and research or academic institutions.
